What?
ShitBox is a all in one, private streaming platform. Its designed to be as little hassle as possible, while maintaining free access for those who use it. We provide any Movie, TV Show or Anime (mostly) to all users of the site, for no cost at all. This includes any new releases in theaters or on going shows. It can take some time for new Movies / Episodes to come out, but rest assured, they will in time. Chances are, if youve been given this link, you are now one of the lucky few with access to ShitBox. Why?
Because if companies want us to pay infinitely for content that we dont have control over or access to, why wouldnt I take matters into my own hands. ShitBox is a direct response to Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and the like. They want us to throw money into a void to pay for content on a platform that will:
- Randomly remove content without warning
- Charge you more for the same or a worse experience
- Make you pay more for basic features that come with any application
Why should someone ever keep paying for a service that actively treats them worse and toys with the very thing that keeps them paying? My solution is that we dont. If they want to treat us worse, then why should we pay them at all?
Thats why ShitBox is around. To give people another choice, rather then paying over and over for something thats technically only temporary. By using ShitBox and services like it, your taking back control of your content consumption from these big companies, keeping your data safer (if you use an ad blocker) and giving you the same freedoms. Thats why.
How?
All this site technically is, is a site that acts as a middle man between you and the content servers. I do not own any of the Movies or Shows on this site, nor do I own the files or the servers thats serving them. I simply allow these servers to provide content to run it on this site. Hence, allowing people to access this content for free. This is why we can run into server issues from time to time.
Another reason this site works and can keep running is how few users we are actually serving. To give some numbers, shitbox sees 9 unique users a day on average, with peak times being from 8pm - 2am. We are a small group of people using a site only known to us. We can fly under the radar fairly easily
